Hi am try to send an email from asp.net using gmail id but i got the message is Failure sending mail

You sure of the ports and firewall not blocking it?

I thought the problem should be in web.config in that i dont where i have to add system.net configurations

did you check with my code? you didnt enable ssl port and smtp port number is not correct
