Hi,
I'm doing a system involving the booking and placing of promoters into particular events.

I have created a button Add Event and I want this to work in such a way that it gets to save the event details that have been entered and at the same time search for promoters that meet the requirements and place them on a list :)

I suggest you buy a VERY basic VB.NET book, and talk to your teacher. If you're doing this for a client, I suggest telling them you are stealing from them. This is the most basic question I've ever answered here. Your button is under your control. Create a click handler, and inside that function, you can do as many things as you would like.
