how to update multiple row in grideview on buttonclick

In my project I have a grideview with a field 'status'.

I want to change the value of field active to dis-active when I checked multiple row and click on disapprove button

How can I do that?

do you want to update the Database based on the CheckBox Checked value of that Field? like all the rows at one Button Click....??
