can we access a windows service using web application

I have done this. it depends what type of access you want.
1. you want to stop-start the service?
2. you want inter-process communication?

first can easily be done using Registry. about the second you can use IPC or Remoting. (sure you can use sockets too) you can use Pipe too.

give more description of what you want to do. and I can provide sample code or articles.
