It's easily broken as you've seen but most of us are programmers, and most of us love what can be done with HTML in the posts. If a post breaks the forums then usually that person learns and doesn't do it again. If a user breaks the forums on purpose then I can simply force all their posts to have HTML disabled. I thought of an email, then decided that this way, you get an email, plus I get some peer level feedback on the issue from other CPians. But then as you can see, no one else seemed even remotely interested in the issue. The world is not such a kindly place as it used to be in my younger days. But there is a small issue. Most of my older articles were submitted with an email address I don't chk anymore. Right now article post notify mails go to the email ID associated with the article. But now articles are associated with CP user-ids.
