This is the reason I've provided the 'Get Article's HTML' link. By taking a look at the HTML after we've formatted we hope that you'll get a guide for future submissions.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, apologies if it has...
Sometimes when I switch between forums the message boards header part losses the number of new items. I.e. moving from Visual C to COM which had 10 new items in it, when I get to COM the board says there are no new items (for all forums).

That's because there is a *time* that is used to show items as new or not. After you browse for a while this *time* is advanced. Thus the number of newer items might fall if enough new posts haven't been made as have been removed!

No Nish, it's because the last time you were on the site is stored as a session variable. If one of the servers restarts or you move to one of the other servers then this variable gets reset and the server thinks that the last time you were on the site was the previous sessions (which may have been mere minutes or seconds away).

Is there anything that can be done about this? It's a real pain in the arse going through forums thinking "have a read that before"...

You want a white minty one with a hole in the middle?
(Wondering how this joke translates outside the UK. Does the rest of the world have polos)

He was referring to the Polo mint - "the mint with the hole". Basically they're mints (little round sweets that taste, er, minty ) with a hole in the middle.
Here's a picture.

I thought it was American! Usually everything in India that's not of Indian origin is American!

It would be nice to have a link for a printer friendly version for the articles on Code Project. Note: There could alreay be one, I just haven't found it yet. When I download code from Code Project I like to save the article (as a IE web archive) along with the code. This way went I finally get around to looking at the code I downloaded, I can refresh my memory with the saved article instead of having to unzip the code and look at it. The current articles don't save very well, they have too much extra stuff on them (advertisements and others). A printer friendly version of the atricle would be great for saving and for printing...

Oops! Sorry I missed it... I wish I could say it's because I'm so into reading the articles that I couldn't see the link. But I think it is because after 14 years of writing code with Microsoft tools my brain is starting to slip...
Thanks again...

I've seen this happen too. I just thought the IE6 was trashing the cookie or that my high security settings was confusing it.
