You could have the main list of forums that you have now + an incubation list of forums. The incubation list (which can have all these forums people keep asking for) would be accessible via a link or a menu. So people can still post on their favorite forums, but they won't clutter up the main list. If any forum in the incubation list gets more posts/month for a certain period, it can displace the lowest frequency forum in the main list. What do you think, Chris?

Hey
I am 99% certain I clicked on bad question for a question but it says I have voted it a 5.
It may be my error but I am 99% sure its not - just thought I would let some one know.
Thanks.

A little suggestion related to your post.
If we have possibility to re-vote for an article, I believe we should be able to re-vote for a message too.
What do you think?

You can. You just need to reload the page

I did reload the page to re-vote and it said I had voted 5 again - this was straight after.
Like I say it could have been my fault but I am pretty certain I clicked the right one.
Thanks

Yeah, but I think you can re-vote it as a bad question (and thus giving it a 1 automatically)

The Delete key no longer works (at my house, at least) when editing a reply. I'd first suspect my keyboard, but it still works normally in other sites and all applications. It might also be that my local gremlins are having fun with me, but I thought I'd mention the problem on the off chance that it might actually be a bug.
On a related note, the tab order seems odd. I believe that tabbing from the subject line used to drop the cursor into the text box, but it doesn't now. It's rather obscure just where the cursor goes, but it's nowhere near the expected destination.
[EDIT]
I have to modify this, Chris. The Delete key does work - sometimes. Perhaps there's a filter at work that doesn't operate until a page load is complete (I often start typing before everything is loaded). Or I may just be psychotic and imagining it all.

I've never seen it misbehave or heard others mention the delete key.
You didn't spill something on it, did you?

Nope, nothing spilled. But it is intermittent, and only happens when I'm posting at CP. Weird. Oh well, there's always the psychotic excuse to fall back on, I guess.

Which browser?
I frequently have delete key problem is Firefox - affecting all input fileds including the address bar, not just CP.

It's still IE6SP1 - I have IE7 at work and it sucks so bad we fired the cleaning staff. No need to vacuum weekly.

Check out this[^] post. When the message was composed, the Preview rendered the last set of PRE tags just fine. But, when shown in the normal forum view, the last set of PRE tags renderes like there was never a closing PRE tag.

Works fine for me... (in IE and FF)

I was blown away when I saw that clicking on the Next button would begin the display of the next page of posts at the exact top of the window, without the header stuff. I suppose you're going to tell me that it's always been this way, and if it has, then take this as a belated thanks.

My first reaction is still "What have I broken??" followed by a careful checking, then a careful, quiet sigh of relief
You're welcome.

When writing a new message, I don’t find any clue that in which “message board” I’m going to post the message, only way I have till found is to use browser's back button, wouldn’t it be suitable that it should show heading such as Visual C++ / MFC “New Message” for new message in "Visual C++ / MFC" forum, currently it is showing“New Message” heading.

When you are posting a message there is a "Forum:" title at the top of the blue section that shows exactly this.

But it is only true for "Reply to Message" window not for "New Message" window.

I am facing a weird issue with the messageboards of CP alone. The forum messages appear without any alignment are those stylesheets.
The other stylesheets appear. Whatever needs to appear within the messageboards breaks down. However, the open/close toggle DIV appears fine.
Anyone else suffering from a similar syndrome?

It's just you.
What browser? Do you have stylesheets overridden? Have you hit Ctrl+F5? Does it work on all browsers on your machine? What about other machines?

IE 6. No I don't have any stylesheets overriden in IE.
Let me call my friend and ask him to see from his home.
