What article are you even talking about? Provide a link...

Can we have a filter by country option for the members?? Suppose you're moving somewhere and want to meet friends from the cp

Theoretically, that's what the Meetings and Get Together forum is for, but I suppose you could use the Lounge as well.

Hello,
Can we have codeproject mvp logo on codeproject.com and html source so that codeproject mvps can put the logo on website?
Thanks

That would be really cool.

...the default "Report this Article" choice to be "No explanation of the code in the article...". I use it so many times, it's silly...

Absolutely. I always wanted to suggest this.

Excellent idea - as long as we can also have a Not an article one as well. That's pretty much my default one now.

Is there a human at the end of report article? I know report message is an automatic nuking function.
Today's lesson is brought to you by the word "niggardly". Remember kids, don't attribute to racism what can be explained by Scandinavian language roots.

Cant you guys detect if there's any code present in a message and then check if its in either pre or code tags, then moan at the poster if not?
Its so irritating to read non-indented code, and i think its because the newbies don't know any better.
You could maybe have a list of keywords to compare the message to(perhaps even a list per language/forum), and then if no tags prompt the user with a small example?

Apparently, there are people who will post a question without subject[^] and that makes it kinda hard to open the message, I have to navigate to it through the keyboard and all.
The post must be validated to have a subject while submitting.

Some ads shown in the left side menu is having width around 500px which is giving the homepage a weird look (e.g Softlayer). Please keep some check before displaying such ads in left area (Instead it can be placed on top)

It's old news. I'm sure Chris will take care of it when he gets back.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The offending banner has been disposed of. All involved have been made aware of the error.

The forums would be much tidier if they didn't display any threads consisting entirely of "Message automatically removed" messages.
Oh yes, and the front page summary of the lounge could do with a similar filter.

[Edit]Just seen Giorgi's report on the next page - apologies![/Edit]
Example[^]
Quotation marks (only when inside pre tags) are displaying as & q u o t ; (spaces added to make html safe!).
The html is being set to
& a m p ; & q u o t ;
I've tried editing the source html to " and & q u o t but the same html is always produced.
It seems to work OK here though.
string str = "Hello World";

I do have to agree that a remove account button would be useful, but

You need to keep in mind that the email address is different for all CodeProject accounts (I believe), so you should be able to just use the correct email when logging in.
