I appreciate your job and the many others who kept our lovely site in it's best.
Now I see why that changes ,But even the 'Click her if download does not apprear' doesn't do the job at most of my cases.
any Idea how to make that work for me ?
BTW -I don't have any add-ins installed such ad blockers ,and my browser has been set to auto refresh as I think.

I am not a fan of the new frame above the external links, but I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that it is good for something [ad revenue?]
I thought I'd bring over an idea from the lounge which might make it more palatable, add [next] and [previous] buttons so that we can scroll through the news articles; this would be elephanting good on my mobile.

This is one of the things the framing allows us to do.
Maybe a compromise in that we ditch a lot more chrome and leave just a nav frame up top. Then we could do the next/prev.

Please why you force me to click one more time to read news article?
If I would not want to read opened article I would not click at previous link at all.
If I want summary I would read text over link.
It's unnecessary at all, and eats my download limit on my phone.

Why don't you opt for text-only emails? That way you won't have to deal with iframes and text mails are easier to read on a mobile device.

I just looked at a few pages and they look okay to me. The one thing that is a little annoying is you have the CP site header and then inside the iFrame the 3rd party site's header, so the article starts way down the screen. Maybe if you could thin out the CP header so the iFrame starts at around the 100th pixel position from the top, it woould look better. What do you think?

Oh it's better than that. I own a slider so I have to scroll to see not article but even link [Remove frame]. For me it's just redundant and annoying clutter.
For what it is for exactly? Title? It's in frame anyway. Summary? It's over link, and most of the times excatly same as first paragraph of the article. There are no ads to? So it's not for money? So what? Constant reminder? CP logo?
I am sorry for rant but I really do not see the point.

I'll second removing the frames and using text-based newsletters. The frames are one of those changes that adds nothing for the user - particularly if someone is reading it with a text-based browser (w3m).
Please rethink this.

I understand any single change on the filters/sort by fields on the Search Page automatically updates the search results, which I believe is an excellent feature. However, it can be quite a hassle for us who have slow internet connection to, for example, untick Questions/Answers, tick Articles, and then sort by Date Modified Desc. My suggestion is that, maybe we can just update the search results after the user has made some changes on the filters and clicked on the Search button. Or maybe we can have an additional button, say Update Filter, which works similarly to what we currently have in Q&A.

I'm thinking it would probably be nice if we have some functionality for authorized users to mark some questions as solved. This is for those questions that were unanswered but OP has acknowledged in their comments that they have solved the issues by themselves.

Actually OP can answer his won question and himself can accept it. If the OP got solution for his own problem, that is better to post the solution as answer and accept it. It is useful for other who are facing the same problem.

That's the ideal way, and I agree that some users are doing it. However, some do not just have the care to do it after they have solved their issue, and their questions stays on the unanswered bucket, when in fact, it was already solved.

If that is the case, how you are expecting them to mark as solved. If they really want to do that better to post the solution so that others can get help from the thread.

It is not only a problem of OPs answering his own question, it is more a problem of OPs just don't accepting any of the solutions, because they don't even come back to the forum (answer is in notification).
There are really a lot of questions that have enough answer of enough quality to be marked as [solved]. I agree, that should be the task of the OP, but if we (I mean a group of people with enoguh reputation) can get ride of bad questions by reporting them... why not have a similar functionality to mark them as solved (let's say after 5 or 10 votes)?
That would keep the list of questions cleaner for those that filter solved questions.
