I can certainly add the videos for you. The caveat is that every time you need to edit the article, I have to do it, otherwise the video will break.
Thanks,

Can't you make it so that the user can insert youtube links, but only if that user meets a pre-determined set of "we-trust-you" requirements?
The article editor could be configured to allow/disallow it based on that criteria, and the site admin would be able to override it at any time (ostensibly to take the feature away if the otherwise qualified user posts a video link that does not have to do with the article).

It's been almost eight hours. Is it implemented yet?

I give up for tonight. CKEditor just doesn't want to play nice with iFrames. I'll have another crack tomorrow.

I think it would be better if we could just embed the video in the article body, but whatever...

You can now add videos yourself using the iFrame tag.
Only YouTube, Channel 9 and Vimeo videos are supported.

My wife added me as co-author in couple of her articles. The role for me particularly will be to explain coding part ( mainly C#).
But,
1) After adding co-author and 'save this version', the articles are not reflected in my profile. I used her username and password to open her account in Microsoft Edge and redit ( not very efficient and 'ethical' either).
2) After adding me as Co-Author, My name always appears first. I think, authors must be able to decide the order in which the name appears. Because, if her contribution is more, she must be the first author.
Can somebody fix this issue ( or bug?)
PS
As she is almost a beginner, she feels that I have done some settings for my name to appear first

Forsooth, I was in the midst of editing a QA response when the power went out; it came back on within ten seconds. Not unusual here.
I was happy to see Visual Studio did contain the latest edited code I was working with.
But, I was surprised that re-opening Chrome got me back to the QA forum with the solution editor open to my post, and only the last small edit missing.
Congratulations !

Somewhere midday, today (01/08) I stopped receiving email notifications... Checkboxes seem in order...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Is this still happening? Have you done the usual like check your spam folder? Your account looks fine from what I can see.

At the bottom of the message posting dialog is a checkbox "E-mail me if someone replies to this message". This was turned off for you. I've turned it back on for this email. Let me know if you get a notification for this.

Yes. It solved the problem... Thank you!
It tells me two things:
1. Somehow the on Forums/Default Pos options got cleared...
2. There some logical inconsistency between 'Send me an e-mail if someone replies to the message' and 'Enable general forum notification emails'...
Skipper: We'll fix it.

Just for completeness...I do receive other CP emails, like Daily News...
