We can't use Java applets so a server side spell with Javascript interface probably uses callbacks or something. I'm not sure if having perfectly spelled forum posts is really worth the hassle. It kind of takes the flavour and sponteneity out of posting. I have been trying to live with it, but it is starting to drive me absolutely batty. I have not gotten a single notification in about two weeks, (not exactly sure of the time span just guessing here). I get the newsletter Ok, just not any notifications. I am using the e-mail adress all the time, so I know my end is working. Sorry to be a pest, but I have trouble keeping up without my notifications. Threads get buried so fast. So ,I suggest(like my hard disk) organise visual c++ into API and MFC In MFC, make activex,com,controls,internet etc. In controls,make buttons,trees etc. This will greatly help the new visitors and also regulars like me. ***May be even C++ and visual C++ and then the rest as above*** {an archive of most asked questions can help). -good luck and cheers. Which, I presume is to do with the fact that html tags aren't quoted, hence removing the [img] tag from the message. Would it be possible to put in a little bit of code to look out for the [img] tags and replace with the correct text when quoting... It's just a little thing. hehe.. a rose [btw. Even though I've rewritten the scripts about a dozen times the internal API still refers to messages as articles, and very occasionally you'll find the word 'article' popping up instead of 'message'. cheers, Chris Maunder how about View Profile link? This link will show up a page containing the bio of the author who posted the message.Presently we have to navigate out of Lounge or other forums and go to WhosWho page and search.Of course this is just suggestion !!
