The popup tha is whown on the new post page when the preview button is clicked should be wider, at least 800px
When code is posted one usually has to esize that window to see it correctly

In our profiles page, can we please see the total number of posts per forum. I'm almost up to 6,000 and would like to see where I've spent the most time (Lounge vs. Soapbox). Many merci's Maunder.

Why would it? Don't you already get most of the info for the page? You'd just be getting the count per forum. Also, how often do people go to their messages page? I don't usually check it more than once a day. Also, you could just do it for the first page and use the cache for all the other message pages they see.

If you are concerned about load on the servers, how about on-demand display? May be I can only see my own statistics? Or whatever.

I submitted an update to this article, including a new zip file, a new screen shot, and new article text. The only thing that appears to be showing correctly is the screen shot.

According to everything I saw on the screen during the update process, everything went okay. Then I came back to it a couple of hours later. I've tried in both IE and FireFox, and cleared the caches in both browsers before posting this message.

Can you retry? I just modified your article and checked and it's all good from where I can see it.
We did have a bug but that was fixed Saturday night. If you can reproduce this bug (from a fresh load of the article editor) then let me know ASAP.

I just cleared the cache again, and went back to the page. The article text does not reflect the changes I submitted. Under "History", there should be an entry for 10/14/2008, but it's not there in my browser. Do you see it?

On a side note, I don't always see my edits in message posts either. They seem to come and go for a while, and then they just stick.

It would be better if we had an API in the form of a web service or something like that. I suggested that Chris come up with an assembly (sufficiently obfuscated of course) that we could use to access an article database, but I don't think he's having any of it. Then, the articles would be about the app using the assembly than the part that parses the scraped web page (and we'd be able to concentrate on the UI instead of the core code).

The clamour for an API is loud and clear and yes, I'll provide one. The only issue is hours in the day - we are stretched incredibly thin at the moment and are trying to work on "Must Fix Now Or Life As We Know It Will End" bugs before we tackle "Now that *would* be nice" features.

Can we have a section where we can see the list of all active member for that day ? it may be based on forum answer, votes on messages .
because codeproject have a very good and strong section for Article competetion and I think there should have a highlighting section for them also. and how to decide a Active member that depends on CP Admin

Sir, I am not Talking about online. It just Active means Actively participate by forum answer. it will give the details after end of the day or may be weekly statictis the list of members who have posted messages with there votes.

When is something going to be done about the article voting system?
I'm going to ask this every time I get a 1 vote on one of my articles.
I'd like to officially request that the two '1' votes be removed from my Article scraping article, and that the people that voted that way be reprimanded for being asshats. There's NO WAY a normal person would vote '1' on that article.

Because it's complete, easy to read, the sample app runs, the download link works, and the general formatting is in line with what NORMAL CP users expect.
