This is controlled by the settings on your homepage; click on "My Settings" in the dropdown by your name at the top of the page, and select the Forums tab.

Now I'm wondering how automated the CP systems are... I'm going through his post history and reporting all of the spam messages (Which is all of them)... Wonder how many removed messages it takes before the door slams shut...

I did the same. Till my voting privileges were stopped.

Same here... APPARENTLY I'm voting too often... Not my fault the guy posted more than 50 spam messages
I want to see what happens when his "points" go below zero... Takes a while, because he got one point for every post, and 100 points just for creating the account.

Have no mercy. Shoot at first sight. Twice, even if that does not make sense to some.

In the forums, e.g. The Lounge, there's a yellow "new" icon next to the latest posts.
Does anybody know if there's a personal setting anywhere where I can set how old posts I consider new? Because a post that's two hours old is not new in my book. It would be easier to keep up with the conversation in certain thread with a lot of posts if you could change this criteria to say 10 minutes...
Or if the icon was put on posts that has been made since the last page refresh only...

If you look to the left you'll see the forum list.
Under it there is a text saying something like 'bold indicates new posts since...'
The same date / hour is used for those new tags.
By my knowledge there is no way to force it to set it to a certain date / hour.
But I think it does reset itself after closing (all) windows / tabs of your browser and then going to the forum again.

I already requested for the same here[^].
AFAIK, there is only one way you can get the real latest posts - end the session. Try logging out and log-in again.
(Waiting for session to timeout doesn't seem a feasible option to me).

Just posted the same and then removed before anyone could say 'repost'
As said, the person is posting AD in Q&A section. Kick? Warning?

I just found another as an answer in Q&A; he or she[^] needs removing.
