Just noticed there's no WinAPI or Windows API tag in the Q&A section.

There's specific Windows versions, and an API tag. I expect a combination of the two would suffice.

I don't. Setting my filters to Windows, API gets stuff tagged with either tag, but not both.
Win32 is the closest tag to what the OP wants, but ties it to a specific windows codebase.
3x12=36
2x12=24
1x12=12
0x12=18

You filter? Suck it up and answer questions on topics you know nothing about. That's the way I roll.

I thought that's what everyone does (apart from the great SAKryukov, of course).
The best things in life are not things.

He may not know the topic when he starts posting, but by the end he's written the definitive article on it.

I disagree... why is there a forum called "Windows API" then?
|
|
|
|
|
Why isn't there a tag called Get-togethers? The two aren't comparable.

not in all cases, in my example... they are...

You can add new tags when you post new questions. Just tag it whatever you want.

I was re-tagging someone else's question, they had it tagged as MFC, which was not correct, it was a WinAPI question (and C++).

While attempting to reasonably answer a post from one of He Who Shall Not Be Nameds many shill accounts[^], I tried to get to my Songbird article - only it's no longer there. What's happened?

I still get: Page Not Found
Unfortunately the page you requested was not found.

Do you get that when you click the link I posted? The link you posted is to the error page.

I get 404 when I point my browser to:

I had cleaned the cache but realized that freaking IE9 has an option "Preserve Favorites website data".
Once I unchecked that, the article was visible. Sorry about wasting your time.
Thank you

Hi folks, just found a bug when I click on any article link:
"Page Not Found
Unfortunately the page you requested was not found.
The following is the most likely location..."
Thanks in advance!

I've managed to get into some articles. Hmmmm, methinks the hamsters are having too much fun.
