??? From where is that coming ?? It has nothing to do with your previous post.
And also here it is because the debugger cannot recognize what you are trying to watch. Try to see on which line of CODE (nothing to do with what you are trying to watch) your program crashes

Hi, I use a richTextBox in a panel to display a little "rtf formatted" info string. I would like to center text vertically so when the user enlarge the Form the text is displayed always on the vertical center of the panel. Here is my string:
// ...
richTextInfo->set_Rtf(S"{\\rtf1\\ansi \\b Info title \\b0\\line Info body text, bla bla bla bla bla...}");
// ...
I have tried \\vertal but doesn't work. Help and tnx in advance.

i am running my program in debug mode.
at some debug line it shows '?' mark within the debug mark.
and it shows a message "The break point will not currently hit.in validline no"
In fact i couldn't get the result from the line.
is there any restriction over file size. or i have change any settings to overcome this problem.
pls let me know if anybody come across the problem.

Did you change the source file when you were debugging?

Sometimes it does not allow set breakpoint in certain places: comment, brace, macro or so. Try a few lines before and then step by step through the code you are interested.

Hi!
I'm trying to create a small program that diplays all type of OS information, like the OS Language installed, user language, keyboard language, Service Packs installed etc.
I know that some of this info you can find in the Registry but not all.
Does Microsoft have any API calls that makes it easy for me to use?
Maybe some other functions to use.
I've found this API GetUserDefaultUILanguage() that displays the user language used. It returns
an unsigned int value I think, converting it to HEX gives you the language code used.
Please help!

Hello friends..
I am working in VC++ 6.0.. using MFC .. I have to record and play sound.. I have problems in playing compressed files (mu-law compressed)..
All my questions are regarding multimedia.. Most of them are unanwsered.. or answered but don't help me much.. Is this the right forum for me ?.. If not which is the one?

yes, you're on the right place for such questions.

maybe because no one can answer them... it can be for two reasons : either you don't express yourself enough for us to understand your request, or they just don't know how to do this... (so they don't answer)

you must work with low level WaveOut and WaveIn API,s
High level Functions Like SndPlaySound And Play Sound
are not suitable for your Purpose.
