Help,
I seem to have forgotten the code to write data from a page to SQL. I use C#
The code is as follows:
SqlCommand RegisterCMD = new SqlCommand("RegisterUser", Conn);
RegisterCMD.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
RegisterCMD.Parameters.Add(new SqlParameter("@FirstName", SqlDbType.VarChar, 25));
RegisterCMD.Parameters(FirstName.Text);
The last line I need some help....

Well it depends on what your stored proc does -
if it does an insert/update call registerCMD.ExecuteNonQuery();
If it return something you can either call registerCMD.ExecuteReader(); or use a SqlDataApabter

I know there must be a script that can be run on an apache server which will allow my visitors, once successfully logged in, to stay logged in until they log out! I'm having problems...

A we-page ? What's that ? ( I assume 'web page' - will the cheap page be full of typos as well ? )
Yes, this is a programming question - try on the web development forum, but even then, I'd expect the people here using Apache would be limited.

Ah come on, it’s so much easier to let him make the spelling errors for me. That way I know for sure its all screwed up.

I don't know about apache, but can't you implement this using cookies or sessions?

Hi,
Having major issues trying to sort out an uploading problem. I need to be able to throttle and set a limit to the speed at which a file upload happens. I'm actually developing a program in VB6 but have been told it's impossible to throttle uploads in VB6 and I would need to do it in C# and make a DLL or something. Anyone know how?!

Why would you use asp instead of ASP.NET ?
The best thing here would be to talk to a potential client, I'm sure if you told them you want to develop something and you're willing to hear their input, they'd be more than pleased to offer it.

hi,
i am developing a multimedia web site using asp.net and C#. i need to play a song on the web without downloading or buffering it in the client side.it will be real time streaming and playing. there will be some buttons like "play", "Next" and a progress bar below the song list with real time interactivity.
can any body help me in this regard giving detail guideline, links and sorce code if possible. i will be very greatful to u.
