Either the default colorization of visited links is turned off or a terrible color. When searching I constantly have to disable the site's style sheets in Firefox just to keep track of the search links I've visited when I go back. Please please, give a better color for visited links on the search results page.

Doesn't Fire Fox support custom CSS templates? Try and override the style class "messagetitle" of the A tag. (ie A.messagetitle)
For example in IE Click Tools, Internet Options, Accessibility, Check "Format all documents using my style sheet", and apply a custom CSS doc to all WebPages.
The lack of distinction in signatures drove me nuts, so I added my own.

BACKGROUND-COLOR: white;
COLOR: #ab2600;
border: 1px solid #FF9900;
}
Why apply the same rules throughout the entire website when we can override them individually. Customize them to our own tastes. Best part is it doesn’t affect CP as a whole.
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

Thanks for the help, but I'm not sure how to implement what you suggest in Firefox.

Hi,
This is a re-post from the Lounge as I didn't know where to report problems with CodeProject pages. Someone there directed me to here.
I've been getting Javascript errors on most of the CodeProject pages (particularly article pages) and I wanted to report them to the webmaster. However, I cannot locate a "contact us" link or anything resembling it. Also, the "About Us" link under the Help! drop-down never returns. No place seems to be listed on the site map.
I'm hoping the webmaster reads this forum regularly.
Anyway, most pages have a message like "Highlight is not defined" (I am viewing with Firefox. Forgive me.)
The debugger shows things like this:
<script language="javascript" DEFER>Highlight(Array());</script><br />
<h2>=>About Nibu babu thomas</h2><br />
It doesn't really bother me that much, but it seems a shame to have this on such a nicely formatted web site, doesn't it.

This should now be fixed.

I had an unedited article that was edited and assigned a new URL. But it seems that the link to the article in the notification email (when someone posts a message on the article page) links to the original unedited article URL.

how about creating a windows based code project browsing utility
1) it will consume less band width (adds can be stored at users end)
2) it will be more customisable
3) no log in log out required
4) may have a separate cache which will not cleaned out every time user clean temporary Internet files
5) more secure (as much as i know)
6) save resources (point 1,3,4)
7) you will have more power and scope of workout new things
8) user can customize the look according to his/her preferences (themes)

While surfing Dotnetspider (http://www.dotnetspider.com/[^]), I came across the website called Community Credit (http://www.community-credit.com/[^]), to which the forum submissions are alerted.
It is like encouraging forum contributors and peer helpers in technology forums.
How about Codeproject also having this webservice integrated into these forums?

When reporting a post as Abuse, it might be nice to be able to put in an input why you are reporting a problem post. Might make it easier for the "moderators" to see which posts need to be gotten rid of.

Nice idea but it's usually obvious why posts are marked as abuse.

True. Tech posts are mostly abusive and are charged with plagariasm. But comments for abuse mostly apply to generic forums like Lounge etc.

Oh I'm sorry then. You should wait for a reply from the Boss

There seems to be some load problems with CP server and me too am getting 500 errors. That should be one of the reasons for the profile not getting reflected.
BTW, did you clear the web browser cache and try?

Btw, this is "Suggestions" Forum. If you have something to suggest to Chris you can post here. A question like this should not be posted here. You can ask this even in the Lounge. It doesn't hurt

Here or an email to the webmaster. At least here, you got a crack at it. Besides, i hear Chris is always up for more stress-testing Outlook.
The Lounge is generally not the best place for such questions.

His initial post looked as if he's just asking how to change his settings. He didn't explain that he had tried to update it thrice. So I thought he needs a *treatment* in the lounge for asking such a trivial question. But I was really sorry then when he explained that he tried to update it thrice. .
