Hello,
I would like to ask you about using Team foundation Server as bug tracking system.
Already we are using Countersoft Gemini, this is one of many bug tracking application.
Because we started to use repository and build from Team Foundation Server, we consider also migrating bug tracking system to TFS work items.
What do you think about this?
Can TFS be utilized as complete bug tracking system with time logging and issue managements functionality?
Do you have any experiences with migration from other bug tracker to TFS?

Instead of adding it to the project just right click on the toolbar and choose Add/Remove Items and then browse to that DLL and it will then be available to drag and drop.

Hi there.
My gridview is populated by a Dataset, with things like name, surname... and Edit(link to another page). What i want to do, is populate a dropdown with the values of the column header of the gridview, as the "Text" of the dropdown, and the "Value" of the dropdown with the columns of the dataset.
the problem is with the Edit, which i do not want to add.
Can anybody help me with this problem?

Well first off if you already know the two languages I suggest you start with a high level design for your site eg: set out in english all the functionality.
If not get yourself some books and use google, codeproject, msdn etc to learn them both (building smaller projects along the way).
Then come up with a lower level design by which you look into how you will achieve the above functionality and what technologies you would need. This will then allow you to pick a method of storing your data (most probably a database). You will also need to design a user interface.
Once you have a thorough design (much more than what I have listed) you need to begin coding your functionality (testing it along the way).
May i suggest you look into buying some design tools (try microsoft, enterprise architect etc) they take a great deal of work away from you.

I want ASP.NET in VB.net .. am i looking in the wrong place?

Hi
A lot of the code examples are in C#, however it should not be too difficult to convert this to VB.NET as they are both using the same framework and have similar code constructs - it is just a case of changing the syntax to fit.

No, this is the right place for questions on ASP.NET. What you are seeing is probably an indication that most people are using C#.
