there's been a CListCtrl customization option with dells for a while... I always get my super mega ultra 1337 h4x0R computers with CListCtrl's. makes a better gaming rig!

Heat Dissipation is not really what you need (at least in the context of your post). All that means is that the PC is good at transferring heats from the components to the rest of the universe.
Whether this dissipation is good or bad, for a given wattage, you'll reach a steady-state whereby the heat it generates being on is the heat lost to its surrounding (your room).
What you need are lower wattage components (except, perhaps, the power supply). Perhaps a more eco-friendly system. Look at power requirements of the system (particularly the CPU & hard drive). The lower they are, the less your mouse-controlled space heater will fry your frontal lobe.

Current days where geographic move owing to work conditions is more, there is also an increasing sale towards LapTops. And with laptops, I think, a few of the factors mentioned either would disappear or the line of demarcation amongst them would become more thinner.

I don't see any that would disappear. I have two laptops in the office area, one under my control, and the new one outside with my partner. His laptop is much more quiet than mine. Price, performance, and all the rest still apply to laptops. Expandability is important as well. Sure many laptops do not have expansion ports, but do you know where your drives are, can you upgrade them, can you upgrad your memory, your graphics card? Mine can. Some laptops are well known for their expansion capability, some people will buy them because of that.

Most of these days desktop computers mostly the home ones come up as what do you call as "Bundled (Promotional) Offers" where you get support equipments like
(*) Domestic UPS for the system
(*) Computer Furniture (Desk)
(*) Multimedia Kits like Surround Stereo, Microphone etc.
Wouldn't these also should be counted in the survey? A good number of Indian CPians hailing from Chennai or Bangalore should have come across such an advertisement rocking across all the pages particularly on the weekends.
