That's not a valid excuse.

Maybe for you, but what works for me, goes for me.
It's not like i am making this program for someone else to view.
If i was, i would clarify it. But once again

Even when I write code that is just for me I try and maintain good standards. I never know when I might find it useful for something else and if it is of poor quality then it becomes useless. And you never know when it might be useful to show the code to a potential employer or incorporate in to some other application, however if it is a mess do you think you'll get the job or your team will appreciate the code. Also, maintaining two sets of standards makes life more difficult as you have to switch between them. It is better to have one set of standards and stick with that.
However, if it doesn't "work for you" then feel completely free to ignore my advice. But don't be surprise if at some point in the future it no longer "goes for you". If you remember the saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". What if one day you don't have an apple, but have a chocolate bar? Will the world come crashing down around you? No it won't. But what if, instead of an apple a day, you have a chocolate bar every day. Pretty soon you'll be wishing you had been eating apples.
Just saying... But feel free to ignore me - I've only been writing software for 24 years.

If the form with the checkbox is a child form. Then you should just be able to use:
this.Parent.TopMost = true;
My current favourite word is: Waffle
Cheese is still good though.

How do I make a textbox (textBox1) that acts like a password box, which means it has where you type and the text becomes "*"s, but still recognizes the text? Also, anything (articles...) that deals with changing and modifying any text would be appreciated. Thanks.

See the UseSystemPasswordChar [^] property.

Set the control's Text property.

Thanks! So simple. Any places/articles to learn on more modifications for text?

That question is too vague to give any answers. In what way did you intend to "change and modify" the text?
Experience is the sum of all the mistakes you have done.

Such as to limit the characters, or maybe cut out certain words; possibly coloring certain words and leaving the rest. But thanks for what I already learned.

There's a property for the maximum length, and you can handle the keypress event to reject keypresses, for example to make a numeric textbox. Just don't forget to check for Char.IsControl if you do that, so you accept arrows, etc.
MasterSharp wrote: possibly coloring certain words and leaving the rest
The rich text box may do that, a text box does not.

Where have you put the @WebService directive? In your .asmx file? Or in your .asmx.cs file?

When i enter the code in the .asmx file it it comes back with error when i build it; could not create type 'StockQuote.XPlatformServices'
Any Ideas.
Is it that this code does not run from within the program where it is created that it requires to be called from another platform language.

In the code-behind file for your webservice, you should create a class called XPlatformServices that belongs to the StockQuote namespace.

The WebService directive should only go in the .asmx file. The .cs file i only for your C# code. If you create your web service using Visual Studio, the .asmx file is automatically generated for you. You shouldn't need to modify the directive yourself.

I don't understand what you mean. Is there still a problem with your .asmx file? If so, post your code.
