No, that's an event. A delegate is a single method reference.

I am working on C# project 2.0. I have browser control and I need to create favorites and saving favorites URL’s in text files on a local machine assuming the file is in same directory where the project is located. Can anyone please help me with this.

Two posts in a row that say 'I need this for my job'.
We don't mind helping people do their jobs, not at all. But, for you to be saying you are *totally* lost, probably means that you should not be doing this job. On what basis can it be assumed that having been given some code, you will use it in a reasonable way, to create an application that is a worthwhile solution for the person who is paying you for this work ?
If you can't work out how to add a browser control to your application, then you really should not be working as a programmer. If you can't work out how to interact with the control by googling for help, then you have serious problems. If you do these things and get stuck, that's the right time to be posting questions here.
How did you get hired if you don't know how to do the stuff that your job requires, and you don't know how to do basic research ?

I guess you did not understand what I was trying to say, when I said am completlly lost I meant to say with the topic of resizing okay. So next time when you say something, first try to find out what other people trying to say and don't behave like little idiot. Anyway for your kind of information am fresh graduate from school and doing good at my work place. I also must tell you no school teaches you things you encounter on work place. At last I only asked for some code or hints so could pull the job. Someone already has given me a hint and already did it. I am sure you are very smart guy and been in industry for long time ,but I hate to sya you kind of guy who like to pick on your juniors and try to feel good by humiliating others. As a c# beginner, so difficult.
One thing to know, a way to translate decimal numbers to Z-values.
ex) x = 100, y = 99;
decimal number 100 = binary number 1100100
decimal number 99 = binary number 1100011
Z-value is xyxyxyxy..... , so 11110000100101.
I heard that it is easy to solve this problem using bitwise operations.
I don't know that.
Give me a hand...

Can anyone guide me through making an icon in Paint.NET and then using it in visual C# 2005? Thanks in advance. I know many of the community people have tried to help, but, I don't know. Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
the way I often do it is by creating a normal image, then programmatically converting
it to a simple icon:
public void ImageToIcon(string filename) {
Bitmap bm=new Bitmap(filename);
Icon icon=Icon.FromHandle(bm.GetHicon());
filename=Path.ChangeExtension(filename, ".ico");
Stream stream=new FileStream(filename, FileMode.Create);
icon.Save(stream);
}
Warning: this does not take care of transparency; I guess other image formats such as
PNG are needed if transparency is relevant.

The six lines of code I gave you, when executed, read an image file and create the corresponding icon file.
There are no mysteries involved, the trick is Image.Save knows how to create a simple icon file.

Write a small console program that calls the code that Luc gave you like so:
ImageToIcon( "c:\\icon.bmp" ); After you run this you should find a file called "icon.ico" in "C:\" which you can then use in your project.

I have an error with FileMode from that, and do I need the image in the solution explorer? Since it's converting, does it matter what kind of file it is?

What error are you getting? No, you do not need to add the image to your project. Just generate the icon from Paint.NET and save it some place. Then write a console program that calls Luc's function to save it as an icon. After the icon is generated you might want to add that ICO file to your project.
As for the source file format, as long as it is supported by GDI+ you should be fine. Stick to BMP/JPG/PNG/GIF and you shouldn't have a problem.
