I think is what you are after: using a crystalreports ReportDocument within a form
<br />
<br />
rptPolicy.PrintOptions.PrinterName = System.Configuration.ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings("printer")<br />
<br />
ReportDocument.PrintToPrinter(1, False, 0, 0);<br />
<br />

What is this function ? I have never heard this. To display HTML content on mail body, you should set mail's body type to HTML.

Hi,
In html we can use this function for example copy this and save it in a html file
<I><A HREF="mailto:someone%20at%20Example.com%3CSomeone@example.com%3E?subject=Comments%20on%20example.htm%20&body=comments%20concerning%20your%20webpage%0D%0A%20at%20http://www.example.com/example.htm%20%0D%0A%0D%0AHi%20David,%0D%0A">send email comments</a></i>
open it in the explorer.

I would suggest you to use the Mail class in ASP.NET and then try to add the table through it.

I need to upgrade an app to allow users to export data to Excel (currently it allows for .csv). Does anybody know of a component that can be used for this ( I'd rather not automate Excel if I don't have to ) ?

eh..... Do you want to read a barcode or place one on the form
if you want to place a backup you need a barcode control or a barcode font, There are lots of different format and standard for barcodes as well as error checking etc...

abondon is not a valid method name. also cleare is not a valid function name

Being out of school, I'm looking for ways to keep my skills sharp and I need to find a way to practice my skills with ASP.NET at home. I know I can get Visual Web Developer for free from Microsoft, but I believe I'd need IIS to be able to write my own ASP.NET apps. Essentially, my question is, is there a free/trial copy of IIS that I can use for my home system?

If you have Windows XP you should be able to install IIS from Control Panel->Add Remove Program. On this screen you will see Add/Remove Windows Components on the left. Click it and Windows Components Wizard runs. You check Internet Information Services and then next till the wizard finishes. It requires Windows XP installation to be available.
I hope this helps.

Visual studio express edition comes with it's own built in server. XP home edition has no ISS.

Sadly, yes I do have XP home and not pro, however, would it be possible to obtain IIS from an XP Pro disc? If not, then I guess that's a good reason to upgrade. I'll see what I can do.

No. Have your tried VS2005 ? It comes with an integrated development server, which may install on XP home. Try your luck.

I don't have the money for a license of VS 2005 unless I can find it for free someplace. Otherwise I can just save for it, I got 2003 on my machine but I don't believe it has an IDS but it's been awhile since I've tried doing ASP.NET on my machine. Oh well, thanks for your input, I appreciate it.

You have Express editions. It's all free. Download the latest Visual Webdeveloper 2008 version and try. It also comes with integrated development server.
