try putting in a number of different controls and then see if you can recognize them

How does that help ?

Well it might just be one control that may not be working, or a small bug in the system

Hi i need some guideliness from u guys,
See i have created one project, it contained lot of sub modules...,
Take example i created one ERP package...,
In that HR, Payroll, Filemanagement like this sub modules will be there...,
This all the things, i have in same project and the dll file name is project name...,
Now my question is, i like to differentiate the modules...,
It mean, while accesing my project "enduser" will interact with the one dll file...,
Suppose lot of enduser will interact this one dll, then it will be critical, then the process will be slow down...,
So i like to create each module as separate , separate dll's...,
so when the user interact with dll using his id and pwd, if he have to rights to access another dll, he can access else he wont disturb that dll...,
example the enduser can have rights only HR and Payroll then he can interact with that 2 dll's only...,
So it will avoid enduser to access all the dll's & we can make process spead also high...,
How to procedure this?,
I dont have any team members with me,I am building this project alone,
So i like to share with u guys how to solve this probs...,
Help me,
Thanks & Regards,

I think you need to do some reading on how all this stuff works, because right now, it sounds like you're very confused.
You have nothing to worry about. If you think things could be too slow, you need to spread your load across many machines. Changing the file structure on one machine, will make no difference at all.

Hi,
You can make folder level dll files to your project...i.e make Hr.dll, payroll.dll like this...
You can do this...by installing the webdeployment.msi on your machine..
Right click on project and click on Add webdeployment project..later go to property pages. in that select an option of folder wise dll..
Then it will works.
I hope, this will solves your problem

I suggest you read this[^], and perhaps consider taking the advice you were given last time you asked this.

You can add a reference from the new project to this assembly. If this assembly is used by many projects, consider deploying it to GAC.

Hi,
I'm looking for a smart way to have a databound dropdownlist to display a greyed text that says somthing like...."select here". After the user has made his first selection the text should go away and not be in the list again.
Any ideas how I can accomplish this?
/ Erik

javascript is really the only way to do this. Not sure how easy it is to make it grey, but I'm sure it's doable.

Remove it with javascript.

Yes.....but how to that?
Is there any samples? I havnt found any.

try and find the value in the dropdown list or by finding a value which has select in, then you can make this invisible

|
http://www.w3schools.com/js/tryit.asp?filename=try_dom_select_remove[^]
So, call a variation on this code when the drop list is opened, but have it look for the item you want to remove the first time and remove it only if it's there.
