It's well hidden. Even among the people who know it exists seldom remember how to get to it. Use this knowledge wisely...

Sounds like "...beware of the darkside...." should be coming out of your mouth right after this statement.

That's an intersting thought, maybe we should talk to Chris and see if he likes the idea of changing the name of Member since to something like "Dark Shadowy Bob-like Thing years"?

People should be allowed to vote on ages. Like you can vote +1 if you think the fellow should be one yr older or -1 if you want to make him younger etc...
Allowed votes are +2, +1, -1, -2
Like the idea???

When browsing the forums, I occasionally see two identical topics posted accidentally, usually by pressing the Submit button more than once.
To prevent this, I suggest that after the user pushes the Submit button, that the button be disabled and that the user is notified that the post is being submitted.

I think the problem is caused often by some sort of delay.
I have posted then recieved a server error,
Next I have hit the Back button and gone back,
And then I have submitted again.
The second post appears to get logged first ??

It shouldn't actually be possible to post two exact posts. The DB is checked before a posting is made to avoid these things.
If you see a post that is duplicate then can you send me a link?

Yeah, i do the same thing. And right now, it's so much work to reload the previous page, i sometimes just keep on typing, for pages sometimes, until i've totally forgotten what i was responding to.

This forum is for suggestions and feedback on the CodeProject site. For a Flash/C++ comparison you might want to use the General Discussions forum.

Since you code flash at OO it could well be called high level but it has a crap IDE etc for coding.

Colin,
You have misquoted the quote. The sentence was by aidi and not by me.
Kindly modify the post to reflect this.

Hi!
I have a question about the 'update of a article'.
I tried to update the article (DirectShow MediaPlayer in C#), because I changed some code and design.
So, as I updated the images the old images are not removed and the article included the old images (that looks not very nice).
Does it need some time that the server update the files?
It was perhaps a little early and I deleted the article and posted it new .
So after that I made some changes in the code and tried to update the zip-file.
After I reload the side and tried to download the zip-files I saw that there are the old zip-files.
How can I update the zip-files, or does it only need a little bit more timer?
I posted my article with the Wizard!

I've seen that happen where the old images were still cached by IE. Hit Ctrl+F5 (assuming you are using IE ) to force a refresh of the whole page and all should be well.
