how about format = HH:mm:ss
don't know for shure but I seem to remeber having a simular problem and that fixed it (I think)

I tried "HH:mm" before, but no success.
-edit-
Thanks, found the error. The column in my datatable, which was bound to datagridview, had the datatype string instead of datetime.

Find another activeX control that is better than what you are currently using. Their may be a compatability issue with using it in Visual Studio. Or if you can use WPF, convert the flash object to XAML.

If the designer for visual studio crashes or does not allow the activeX control to be added to a form, then their is a problem. The problem is most likely because of an incompatability between the activeX control and either visual studio or the .NET framework. To fix the problem, ditch the control and find a replacement. You can either find an activeX control that works or you can use the Windows Presentation Foundation (of .NET 3.0). To use WPF you would have to convert the flash file to XAML.

First thing I spot is that you are using the wrong port number. I have code similar to yours for my own application (I can't get to it at the moment, otherwise I would post it), but you can start off getting the correct port number.

You should really remove your Gmail username and password from this post (and then change your password).

Hi Guys
I have a .Net WinForm with a bound DataGridView which has been formatted in design view. All columns are bound to the datasource in design view with datapropertyname and Grid datasource is passed at runtime. Some colms are visible, frozen and invisible. Issue I have is I cannot seem to order the columns properly. What it shows at design time is not what is displayed at run time. Everytime I order the columns at design time, it just reorders as it likes. I tried to control this at the Designer class and still was no luck.
Can someone help me please.

Before you bind the grid to the desired datasource, make sure you set the grids AutoGenerateColumns property to False. I expect that will solve your problem.

Thank you very much it worked

in regard to display data of an excel spreadsheet
Well, if you do not want the user to interact directly with Excel, then you could use the Grid control or an equivelant or better third party control to host the user information. Or have a form that just has textboxes whose information will be sent to excel. Then google how to send information to Excel through either Excel API or VSTO.

i am still having difficulty understanding what u are tell me to do,are you telling me that i can use excel API and VSTO to transfer data from an excel spreadsheet will all the header informations into a form in tablebuilder
Dim Col1 as Collection
Dim Col2 as Collection
'Add 10 items to the Collection object Col1.
Set Col2 = Col1 'What it really does, whether "Col2" has a copy of the collection "Col1" or ref of the collection "Col1".
Thanks,
Sakthivel

Try changing one of the items in Col1 and then view the same item in Col2, that will give you your answer.
Col2=col1 as reference, if u assign a object to another objects (not only collection) it will always reference
check the following code whit lable control
I think u will understand
Dim lbl1 As New Label
Dim lbl2 As New Label
lbl1.Text = "Am label 1"
lbl2.Text = "Am lable 2"
MsgBox(lbl1.Text)
MsgBox(lbl2.Text)
lbl2 = lbl1
MsgBox(lbl1.Text)
MsgBox(lbl2.Text)
lbl1.Text = "Code Project"
MsgBox(lbl1.Text)
MsgBox(lbl2.Text)
Thanks
