Hi all,
I need a help on Asp.Net checbox and Asp.NetCheckBoxList
I have a page with 3 controls viz.,
1) A CheckBox -> which has a text "ALL"
2) A CheckboxList -> which has a couple of checkbox items
3) A Submit button which when clicked get the data from the database.
On selecting / deselecting "All" checkbox, all the items in the checkBoxList gets selected / deselected respectively. However, this functionality is achieved using Javascript. After this, I click on the search button, which brings the data perfectly, but the Viewstate of that CheckBoxList is not maintained. The "All" checkbox is shown selected, but all the checkBox items of the checkboxlist is not shown as selected on PostBack.
How can I sort out this issue??
Would be thankul if anybody has come across such strange issue and can help me for the same.

Hi pratik
you can use a hidden variable to store the status of the check box list, (Probably in CSV Format)
Then use window.onload event to rebind the state of the checkboxes
this should work

By this do u mean that I need to store the selected values in a CSV format in a hidden variable and then during Postback, trap the window.onload event and set the selection accordingly. If yes, then in that case can u help me with the ready code (if you have one.Please accept my sincere apology for asking the same from you), since i have an immediate urgency to solve this.

if you want to send and read mail in intranet or internet, you alwasys need a mail server and mailclient. you can send mail from your application and if your server allows you to read then you can read mail from your application.
