Was this a statement or do you have another question?
only two letters away from being an asset

Hi ,
I thought linked server was used for 2 different server.
So I wanted to know how to implement that on tables on same servers
Thanks

Your DB2 database is external to SQL Server, it doesn't matter that it is physically on the same server.
only two letters away from being an asset

If this is SQL Server, you cannot use referential integrity between two databases even if they are on the same instance. Instead you can implement the logic using triggers. In the triggers you can reference the table from the other local database using notation: databasename.owner.table. For example:
SELECT * FROM OtherDatabase.dbo.Warehouse;

I use Visual Studio to write code, but you could certainly use any another editor, such as NotePad, or EdLin.

please just give me a specific source in C #

Well that's not like this site is working. Post more specific questions!!!
I guess that English is not your mother tongue. Maybe we here at CodeProject could make an exception and you can post your question in another language.
Maybe somebody can help you then.

I usually encrypt source code that I post here. Is that okay?

i created a form, but later noticed that i have four rows of student data for 1 ID, how do i bring back the four rows of data?

Your DB is obviously broken. You can do a select to get the four rows, but if they have the same Id, then you have a bigger issue.

is it the way you (outer) join the data in SQL?
Could you post your query

I had a look at your query and it seems fine. When you say that you have 4 rows for the same customer ID, do you mean that "CUSTOMERS"."CMF_ACCOUNT" has the same value?
If that's your key column (is it appears to be based on the query), I think your data is corrupted. If that's the key column of customers, it should be either primary key or unique key and there would be no duplicates.

When i run the query i found that there was a record with 4 different IMID, but the same transfer_id, i want to print those four records on to my form (aspx page)
