I thought linked server was used for 2 different server.
So I wanted to know how to implement that on tables on same servers

Your DB2 database is external to SQL Server, it doesn't matter that it is physically on the same server.

If this is SQL Server, you cannot use referential integrity between two databases even if they are on the same instance. Instead you can implement the logic using triggers. In the triggers you can reference the table from the other local database using notation: databasename.owner.table. For example:

SELECT * FROM OtherDatabase.dbo.Warehouse;

I use Visual Studio to write code, but you could certainly use any another editor, such as NotePad, or EdLin.
