He really needs to stop asking questions about basics and learn them from a well organized book.

Various people may have mentioned this to him, one or twice.
I think the phrase "and don't come out until you have read them" came up a few times, too.

this link[^] was the most promising reference to a solution of your problem that I can find.
Sorry if it doesn't work, google has a ton of hits though.

Do you have the correct *version* of the framework?

Hi Kidya,
My friend Elliota asked a very awkward question, "Do you have .NET framework installed?"
Rediculous and should be red flagged. Can you debug a .NET project without the framework?! Rather, .NET Framework was already installed in your system when you installed VS.NET (incase you have not installed the framework earlier).
Well, regarding your problem, I would say that, maybe some file needed to run the applications have gone corrupted. Needless to say, but either you've to repair VS.NET or re-install it.
Depends on you,
Cheers,

You're a tool, my initial post of asking if the .net framework was installed was redundant due ot the lack of information provided in the OP.
You're such a tool, go away.

It is an all too common mistake.

That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, apart from you questions.
Your solution is just wrong. If you had any knowledge what-so-ever, or by reading the other posts (like EliottATM), you would realize that they are using the wrong version of the framework.

You're making a rather huge assumption. It IS possible to debug an app on another machine without having Visual Studio running on it. It's also possible that this person was testing his app on a test machine, without Visual Studio on it, and this is the error he got.
You made the mistake of assuming that you HAD TO HAVE the .NET Framework and Visual Studio installed to debug an app. How silly of you...

Hi Kidya,
I think that the CLR of your framework was messed up. Do one thing. If you're working on VS.NET 2005, then re-install .NET Framework 2.0, else if VS.NET 2008, I would suggest you re-install Framework 3.5.

You're wrong again, you tool.

This is the third time you've insulted me and I am yet quite. Dont judge my patience just because I respect you, as a programmer.
Well, if you think that I'm wrong, then why dont you find her a solution.
PS: Stop giving wrong links to people here in the forum.
|
|
|
|

You're an idiot, I gave her a link, she never said it was wrong. I will continue to insult you as long as you show no respect for the people here by refusing to learn anything yourself and keep on attempting to have people do your work for you, especially when it is malicious.
You have a pattern, you ask for work repeatedly and when people get fed up, you apologize and say how it's not your fault we are the masters blah blah blah, and finally you say you're quitting forever. And then you come back with more stupid sh*t hoping to get more code.
What's worse is not you give people faulty answers, and have them potentially waste time. My link was a suggestion to a probably solution to a problem, you simply stated to reinstall the framework twice with no evidence your solution will work, and no disregard to the viability of reinstalling the framework (what was it, 3 times you stated??).
So go on, keep posting suggestions for malicious snippets of code, but stop potentially compromising the stability of another persons environment. If you don't know how to write to a file you definately don't know how to solve anyone else's questions.

Explain whats the 'sh*t' here? So, now this becomes the 4th time your are insulting me. You want to make things personal. Fine.
|
|
|
|
|
The sh*t here is you suggesting random time-consuming 'solutions' which are in no way validated by any research at all.
You're a tool talking out of no where with absolutely no research or education and I, for one, am sick and tired of it.
