I would use excel with macros to do something like this.

At any value change in the datagrid field, you may raise events and invoke the function to update affected datagrid fields.

Hi, ive been using the Digital Persona SDK for past projects but for the scale of an upcoming project I am looking for a better SDK.
Has anyone had experience with different ones and which one would you recommend?
It doesnt need to be free.
Thanks

That all depends on what you intend to do with it?
Whats this upcoming project about more or less?

It just needs to reliably check fingerprints against a database of about 1000 or so. Only needs to run on windows, and must come with both authentication and enrollment functionality.

The SDK's I've used for "large scale production environments" (MUCH greater than 1,000 users) all came with their scanners and will not work with other scanners.

I suggest you ask this in the Lounge forum. It's not programming specific and it'll get a lot more attention.

I have a series of strongly typed datasets in my .NET v2 project. When I shift the project to .NET v3.5 the system runs the first connection but refuses any further connections giving me a Named Pipes error...
I thought that there were no code changes required to migrate from v2 to v3.5, well obviously there should have been because it no longer works, but what should I be looking for?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Make sure your connections are properly released. Also, make sure that your application accesses the database in a linear manner. Then make sure that SQL server is properly configured, etc. Your error, unfortunately, has many potential causes. The current project I am working can be built in 2.0 or 3.5 and access the database without an error so it can happen seamlessly depending on your code.

|
There must not be any code changes while migrating from 2.0 to 3.5 as framework core(structure) remains the same retaining all previous functionality. All the enchancements are additional to the 2.0.

I saw a control in a program written in VB which is very easy to adjust time and I am looking if it is possible to find the same control for csharp/vs2008. I couldn't post the picture but it's like this: "00:00" Every zero is divided into 2 parts from the middle with a horizontal line and clicking the bottom piece decreases and top part increases the numbers.
do you know such a control?

'Fraid not. But it sounds like the sort of thing you could do yourself in not too long a time.

That would be a customized control. You can do that yourself, infact even better and easily with 3.5

Hi
I have a datagridview of transactions.Does anyone know if there is a way that I can catch an event handler for the double enter keypress.
Thanks

I do not believe that there is such a thing.
What you might do is handle the keydown/keypress event, test for enter and if so check a flag, if flag is set it's a double enter. If flag not set, set it and start a timer. When timer fires reset flag and stop timer. That way you can select the double enter period for yourself.
[Edit]
Also, if key is not enter, reset the flag.

You may also consider storing all the SQL DB connection information in an XML file instead of hardcoding.
