Is the code in C++? I suppose you have to use '\\' instead of '\' in code.

Please take a look at http://51degrees.codeplex.com. It is an ASP.NET open source module which detects mobile devices and provides auto redirection to mobile optimized pages when request is coming from mobile device. It makes use of WURFL mobile device database. For redirection there is no need to modify existing ASP.NET web application pages.
Sample web.config configuration for mobile device detection based on MobileDeviceManufacturer property.Both WURFL capabilities and ASP.NET Browser properties can be used with the property attribute.
<redirect firstRequestOnly="false"
mobileHomePageUrl="~/Mobile/Default.aspx"
timeout="20"
devicesFile="~/App_Data/Devices.dat"
mobilePagesRegex="/[Apple|RIM|Nokia|Mobile]/">
<locations>
<location url="~/Apple/Default.aspx">
<add property="MobileDeviceManufacturer" matchExpression="Apple"/>
</location>
<location url="~/RIM/Default.aspx">
<add property="MobileDeviceManufacturer" matchExpression="RIM"/>
</location>
<location url="~/Nokia/Default.aspx">
<add property="MobileDeviceManufacturer" matchExpression="Nokia"/>
</location>
</locations>
</redirect>

Hi folks!
I have a Motorola/Symbol MC70 running a Compact Framework 2.0-application.
The app receives commands from the network and displays custom-controls inside a panel.
My problem is, that the creation of the control takes a lot of time.
Are there any ideas how i could speed up this process?

Hi J.Holzer,
All things are depend on your Custom-Control. What approach you are using while developing, you can optimize the performance of control.
While developing custom control you can follow some tips.
1) Before rendering control load all images.
2) Choose appropriated data type.
3) Use off bitmap screen.
4) Try use less property

Hello,
I have written code Win32 for the launch of the flash10d.ocx control. The code is compiling fine n working but when i try to use the same code for my WinCE programming, it doesnt work.
In case of Win32, i have included the following linein my code-
#import "c:\\windows\\system32\\macromed\\flash\\Flash10d.ocx" named_guids
using namespace ShockwaveFlashObjects;
However, when i use the same, for loading a control names "axPhoner.ocx" which was obtained from the brothersoft site, it doesnt compile and the 1st error given out is-
error C2440: 'return' : cannot convert from '__missing_type__ *' to '__missing_type__' d:\my project\my project\my project\windows mobile 6 professional sdk (armv4i)\debug\axphoner.tli
Can someone please help me with the code for launching an ActiveX control from WinCE or if anyone can please suggest me like where to look for it.
Thanks in advance

This is my code in the login click button as Sir suggested:
<pre>
private void btnLogin_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
AppDatabase1DataSet ds = new AppDatabase1DataSet ();
AppDatabase1DataSet .LoginDataTable dt = new AppDatabase1DataSet.LoginDataTable ();
AppDatabase1DataSet.LoginDataTable();
this.loginTableAdapter1 .Fill (dt) ;
foreach (DataRow dr in dt .Rows )
{
if(dr[0].ToString()==txtuname .Text && dr[1].ToString()== txtpassword.Text )
{
txtpassword.Text = "";
txtpassword.Text = dr[0].ToString();
MessageBox.Show("Login Succeeded");
</pre>
I've defined everythings accordingly but this error pops up on the LoginDataTable() line:
Error 1 'csharp_phonebk.AppDatabase1DataSet.LoginDataTable' is a 'type', which is not valid in the given context
I don't know why...Please answer me asap.

Hey Guys,
I'm wondering if anyone had run across a fairly good app generator that will take IL and generate applications for various devices such as IPhone, Droid, Windows Mobile, ect. I've come across a few others such as Rho Mobile, but was curious if someone had found a .NET based platform.
Thanks!

I have misgivings about boost:regex on Windows Mobile, have you seen PCRE ? - its pure c I think, which would be an easier bet to compile - with a class wrapper you'd be set ...

Hi,
It possible to read/write Word/Excel/Pdf files. I dont know whether there is any libraries available to read and write Word/Excel/files using J2ME.
If you are familiar with the file structures of Word/Excel/PDF, you can create your own for J2ME.
