I just tried to post a reply, but instead of seeing my reply nothing happened. I refreshed the screen a couple of times, but nothing happened. So I decided to write my reply again and once again nothing happened. However, when I refreshed the screen again I could see my first reply and when I refreshed a few seconds later there was my second reply too.
This bug(?) has happened to me before.
Which leads me to a suggestion. Could deleted replies/posts really be removed?
I now have to see my removed reply until the end of days, but with a 'Removed' tag in the right upper corner... I did not delete it so I could read it over and over again 
It's an OO world.

Answers in Q&A yield way more authority points than answers in programming forums, and IMO this is unwarranted.
From the FAQ (daily limits within parentheses):

So we see in Q&A each bookmark earns double points, 2.5 times as many are rewarded, and acceptance yields quite a bonus.
Example: post 100 forum answers and 100 Q&A answers, each getting an average of 2 upvotes and 2 bookmarks, and 20% of the Q&A answers being accepted.

Even when the all-in-one-day example may be unrealistic, the numbers shouldn't be such that the result would be that different and unfair.

Well they are 2 different types of forums. In QA you typically have only 1 single response to a thread. So you will only get 10 points from that.
In the normal forums, most threads involve some kind of dialogue with the OP which results in multiple posts (usually 5-6), so that's 50-60 points right there. So forums have areas where you get more of a points advantage compared with QA.

That could make sense as both subsystems have somewhat different capabilities; however the forum's message type isn't answer all the time, the default being general except when parented by a question (and when such general message gets upvoted, that gives 3 Debator points, not 5 Authority, another singularity); furthermore I doubt the enquirer or a passer-by will regularly bookmark more than one of a person's answers in a thread; and finally there is no equivalent for accepting an answer.
I have argued before the replies to the author of the top-level forum message should default to type answer whatever their depth in a thread. A thread possibly ending on a "you're welcome" note really is no excuse for calling everything but the top-most reply debator material. Are we to be punished for some members being polite?
I don't agree with double bookmark points in Q&A. And, if the acceptance concept is to remain in Q&A, I suggest something be done to get similar functionality and points in forums.

It already is capped at 50 answers per day. After that, you get no points for any answer you provide. Personally, I think the points earned should be reduced to 1 point after 50, but I've never hit that cap, so...

I remember raising this here. It was accepted as a valid point by Chris for consistency and was added to the 'To-Do' list then.
So sooner or later, this will be same for both the forums and will be consistent across.
That leave us with bookmarks. Which to me too is little confusing on why so. (Even after considering the different form of asking questions, yet!)

When looking at a profile, or the Who's Who listing, there is a link to report someone as Abusive or a Troll or a Spammer. I'm not having the icon show up. Just a little square box with a red 'x' in it. IE8 if that helps.
Oh and yes, I've refreshed numerous times.

The limit of 25 upvotes/downvotes is to low and needs to be increased to 50 at least.
It takes 12 down-votes to remove a message this means that once a Troll has posted two messages and had them deleted he has reached the down-vote limit, and thus is free to spam/troll for the next 24-hours, immune from any down-votes.
On the other side of the coin, I have seen many instances of a single post attracting 25+ up-votes, meaning if the OP has anything more meaning to say he is better of waiting 24-hours before sharing it, if he wants to earn rep points.

I've already brought up the up-votes cap. I'm pretty sure that clicking "Vote To Remove Message" is not capped. It's just that points can only be deducted the first 25 times.

I think you got it wrong.
1.
You can up-vote (and bookmark) as much as you want, however it is only the first 25 up-votes and first 25 bookmarkings each day that will earn you org points. Beyond that, you get nada.
2.
Your posts can be up-voted and/or bookmarked without limitation, however it is only the first N each day that will yield you some rep points, the value of N and the category depends on the type of post and/or its location.
IMO there is quite some unfairness in the system however:
a) the net result depends on the timing of your audience; 25 votes yesterday plus 25 today yields twice as much as 0 votes yesterday and 50 today. IMO the frequency restrictions on passive points should be lifted.
b) the value of votes and bookmarks is quite different between forums and Q&A. See my thread above.
