Why should I post a question with an image, if I don't have a question?
You can try it yourself.
Go to "Ask a question", add a
<img src="http://s.codeproject.com/App_Themes/Std/Img/logo250x135.gif" />
Go to preview, and an image is shown.
Then you can leave QA, without posting the question.

Seriously, try it and find out that you moved to Wrongville, Wrongzona. What you see in the preview isn't what you see when it's actually posted. Obviously I won't make you come back here and say how right I am. We'll just take it as read that I'm right and you're wrong.

Yes, you're right and I'm wrong.
I did test it with posting the question and I didn't get an image.

1) Check Who is Who page,
2) order by : Reputation
There are some CP Expert having less then 1000 reputation points but they still on first 10 pages(check 10th page).

Seems to be all sorts of glitches with rep points... I assume this is the same problem.

Today, reading an article i wanted to add the article to favorites and i think it would be a nice feature to have this option to add articles to some favorites list on my profile
what do you think ?
|

There is bookmark feature for that.
Thanks

I think the CodeProject could use a section for Small Basic.
But why would they do that?
Here's why:
1.) It's a new way to begin using VB/.NET
2.) It's a tool that can be extended, and customized for a better leaning environment.
If you want to know more about Small Basic, go to Small Basic Website

While I think SB is excellent, and am using it to introduce my son to programming, I don't think its suitable for production use, so don't see much chance of it having takeup on here.

That's sort of the issue I faced here when I joined. I had no idea what COM was or what a lot of the common acronyms were, where to begin. It all looked to be well over my head (back then). I think by adding an SB section they would only be helping the community. And if it turns out it doesn't get much attention (as even I predict that it won't for a while) it'll be just one more thing CodeProject can brag about.

Giving a solution in Q&A, which was accepted by OP, yielded one 25 too many. At least that's what showed up in the list of recently gained reputation points.

Hi,
now (my locale time is 04/12/2012 11.28 GMT +1) bookmark function doesn't work fine.
If I click in "Bookmark" icon then it's transformed in "Saved" but it's not present in "My Bookmark" list.
Salvo.

Have you checked all sections of your bookmarks?

Ok...sorry ...i don't know (view) that there's a link with "Your other bookmarks: Tip/Trick".
Item that i want to save it's a Tip/Trick article and this is the reason because i can't view in "Your Article bookmark".
But I think that it's not very "usable".

Every morning when I log on, each message is marked as "new" and the dot
"indicates new messages since 5:00 1 Jan '00"
In the afternoon I see only new messages marked.
(I just "bug" as message type because I ever wanted to use it. It's the first time for me. So even if the markup won't be corrected, I'm happy as I was able to use this tiny little bug icon )

What happens if you use a different browser for a day of so? Also, what browser/OS are you experiencing this on?

In the moment I'm using Firefox 17 (Windows 7) and since eleven o'clock MEZ everything is ok:
"indicates new messages since 10:24 4 Dec '12"
Funny IE 9 now shows the following
indicates new messages since 0:35 8 Nov '12
Perhaps a caching-Problem? Well I emptied the IE 9 cache, but same result.

I've seen this occasionally, and it tends to be associated with heavy load on the servers. If the query times out trying to read the date/time of your last visit, it seems to store a default date in your session, and all the messages show as "new" until your session times out.

Most probably.
arashmobileboy wrote: reputations doesnt back
No, you must see that the other way round: too many reputation points were awarded, and they are now being counted correctly.
