At the time, the name of the author, title and content of the article made it seem like SPAM, got that it isn't now though. Thanks.

I took care of him. I gave him the link to the Adobe Photoshop 1.0.1 (Mac version). He should be all set once he figures out how to read Pascal!

I'm afraid I misread the message. I read it as "source code". It happens to be when I wake up almost 5 hours earlier then on my usual day.
I hope the account is still alive; and I'll try to fix my message. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I read it as he was looking for "open source" code for Photoshop. Since Adobe released the original code for 1.0.1, that's what I gave him.
If he's looking for something LIKE Photoshop, there's always Paint.NET, which you get the source for for free.

Unfortunately, Paint.NET is not like Photoshop, not even close. But GIMP is. In some aspects it is better than Photoshop, in some, Photoshop is better: it has more extras and covers more pixel formats.

Hehe. True. But do you really think he'd understand the code in any case?? Somehow, I doubt he'd be able to understand the source for Notepad.
