richcb did the right thing. Anybody can look at the original post by using the versioning link.
SPAM should always be removed and the corresponding account shall be nuked.
Best practice is to also place a link to the question and the perpetrator in this here forum.

Aha, now what Griff said in that post does make sense.
I guess instead of rambling on RedDK should have just linked to that.
Cheers!

Thank you, thank you. I must give all the credit to all the spammers out there. For without them, I could not have done it.

This article is a blatant advertisement: Msys Test Automation Solutions (MTAS)[^].
OP's other two articles are from 2007, but can hardly be called an article. Were the standards that low back then?

Account seems to have been nuked!
I do have a question about this though, Griff. OP linked to another "Third Party Product" article in one of his replies to my comments about his article. It was about some use of a Telerik control. I viewed said article and found no links to the "third party product" manufacturer. Is an article OK if it just shows a use case for an official product, but does not actually link to the manufacturers site?
If the answer was yes, wouldn't it have been enough to try to get OP to just remove the link and have him post his article in the correct category?
And the last question is about the two former articles OP had already done in 2007. Why were those two even considered as an article? They were very, very short, mostly code and no real explanation.
Regards,
Manfred

Yes - it's fine as far as I can see. If it wasn't allowed then I think half of the answers in QA would technically be spam, given that (other than the Express editions) VS and MSSQL aren't exactly cheap!
If you look back into history, many, many articles were shorter - a lot shorter - and I suspect that was why the Hamsters introduced Tips as a separate category in (don't quote me, I'm working from memory here) around 2010. They wouldn't pass muster as an article now, but they did then because there was nowhere else for them.
The only instant messaging I do involves my middle finger.
English doesn't borrow from other languages.
English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

That seems a probable reason. In 2010 I became more active on CP even though I had already signed up January 25th 2007. I think there already were Tips/Trick type articles by 2010.

This user[^] has posted 6 questions in the QA (so far)
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/MemberPosts.aspx?tab=questions&mid=6086409[^]
The weird thing is that he answers himself in 4 of them within a minute with a bunch of code. So it is clearly a "ask question" + "paste ready answer".
Then there is this "question" Just Test Test test ddsds sd d[^]
In another one he even posted a comment his own solution as "good one"
I have told him he should stop doing that and if he really wants to share his code to make that, he should write a tip/trick or something, but I consider it "rep hunting" in the QA.
Not reported him yet. I would like to know your opinion first.
Edit: Cleaned up

On a side-note, I modified the Just Test Test test ddsds sd d[^] question and answer. Without the pre-tags, the whole thing was displayed at half the normal width and the reporting flags were not visible (both in Chrome and IE). I had to switch to Mobile site mode to make "Improve solution" visible and actually [Tab] through the elements to get to "Improve question".
I figured I would share that little tip here.
