I'm converting postscript forms from VPS/ANYQUEUE to a web application and I need to know to re-build the forms that were used (primarily standard greybar in landscape and portrait).
How do I rebuild them and get the Postscript overlays to work (Ghostscript ?)

Hi I tried customizing my right click menus. I managed to insert an extra menu to start one of my own applications.
But when I select more than one file and try to start the application it starts a copy of it for every selected file.... I would like it to start one single copy and hand over each filename as parameters. Kind of like when you have the compress file option in the Right Click menu. It compresses all the files into one archive and doesn't make a different archive for every file.
Thx for your help.

Hi,
Sorry, I made a bad assumption - I've used this on Win2k3 so I wrongly presumed that it was the same on XP (as the two utilities are both named shutdown), but on double checking both sets of help files it appears that shutdown on Win2k3 is totally different to shutdown on XP.
You could write a quick console application that calls the setsuspendstate function.

There is a setup project that determines the IE version of the computer and decides whether IE 6.0 will be setup or not. If the setup is required, some components (internet tools etc.) need to be installed from internet. But I desire that setup is not to be done from internet, but is to be done from the local machine. How can I find these components?
Here is the warning screen: (It's translated from another language.)
"Setup Windows Update:
The Windows Update on your computer: Internet Explorer and Internet Tools are not valid for your operating system. Setup will install the proper files from Internet. Do you want to continue?"

my friends & i are working on a school project. the most difficult part for us (we're all noobs) is how to remote lock or, at least, restrict the use of other PCs within a LAN. we're using Java.

What do you mean by remote lock??? Do you mean lock the other computer, so that the other people could not input an value or interact with the application???
And what do you mean by restrict the use of other PCS...? As far as I know, if the machine join with the domain in the client/server network platform... an administrator could do most of their task to manage the user right and permission.

Any help appreciated,

If it is possible, could you post an error message on that forum?

There is no error message or diagnostic of any kind. After having Outlook open (it doesn't matter if it is still open or not), I log into my workplace workstation. After just a few seconds, I lose the connection. The connection is not open long enough for me to do any work. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Royce

When will you get up and ask your question?

My first time on these forums.
Is this the right forum to ask questions about NTFS alternative data streams (ADS), Indexing Service and DSOFile?

Yes, it is. But you should give more explaination about the question that you ask. Do you have some problem with it or need to have and overview about its concept? Ok, anyway I still help you. I assume that need to know about its concept. Show let start from here about NTFS ADS[^], windows 2000 indexing service[^] and DSO File[^].
