Software Developer (Senior)
Canada
Starting with BASIC and Pascal, I quickly realised the need to move on to C and C++. This was back in the early days before Visual C. Since then, I've programmed using C++ in the Windows environment then moved on to Java. At this time the web was becoming a popular platform for more sophisticated applications using database backends so I learned some Oracle along the way. I then spent several years programming on the .NET platform using C# and VB with SQL database backends. Of course, with the advent of Ajax, Javascript supplemented my Web projects too. Today, I develop mobile applications using C, C++, Objective-C and the iOS SDK.
